Duevo — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

Duevo (“the app”, “we”, “us”) helps you track subscriptions, bills, free trials, and recurring payments. We built Duevo to be private by design. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

Duevo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. There is no account to create, no server we control, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no bank or email connection. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What data the app stores

The payment details you add — names, amounts, billing cycles, categories, dates, and notes — are stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database (SwiftData). This information never leaves your device except in the ways you explicitly choose, described below. We have no access to it.

Notifications

If you grant permission, Duevo schedules local notifications to remind you about upcoming renewals and trials ending. These are generated and delivered on your device by iOS. We do not operate a push server and cannot see your reminders.

Exporting and sharing

Duevo lets you export your data (for example, as a CSV file) and share it using the standard iOS share sheet. When you do this, you decide where the file goes (Files, Mail, another app, iCloud Drive, etc.). That action is under your control; Duevo does not transmit your data on its own.

Purchases

Duevo offers an optional premium upgrade through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. All payments and subscription management are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your name, payment card, or billing address. Apple provides us only with anonymous, aggregate information about whether a purchase succeeded.

Widgets

The Duevo home-screen widget reads a snapshot of your upcoming payments from a private, on-device app group container shared only between the app and its own widget. This data stays on your device.

Network requests

Duevo works offline. It makes a small number of anonymous network requests that never include your personal or payment data: it fetches service logos (to show a brand icon next to a payment) and current exchange rates (used only to display your spending totals in your chosen currency). These requests don't identify you, and the details you enter never leave your device.

Children

Duevo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them (or from anyone — see above).

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will also be reflected in the app’s release notes.
